Well, climb aboard and bring the kids (and grandkids too!) to Yew Dell this holiday season for the popular Yew Dell Gardens Express – a fabulous snow village and model train display. This magical exhibit has been created by master model builder Bob Irmscher with support from some of the most talented model train enthusiasts in the region. In addition to the trains, kids of all ages will enjoy scavenger hunts, visits from Santa on December 1 & 8 and more! Bring your cameras!

    The event will begin at the picnic grove, which is directly across from the Archery Range.
    What: "In the Park After Dark" Geo-Caching Event
    Geo-caching is fun enough in itself, but add in the element of doing it in the dark and it's a blast! Come to E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State park to take the challenge and see how many caches you can find in the dark. All caches will be in open spaces with no trails or hidden areas. This family friendly event is fun for all ages! Please dress for the weather and bring a snack for the hunt! Hot chocolate and smores will also be offered for a minimum charge.

    Fee: The cost is $5 per person with children 5 and under FREE!
