    FContinue to enjoy the Christmas season throughout the month of December with plenty of seasonal activities, including an ice-skating rink in the center of Fourth Street Live!, a nightly light show synchronized to music between Fourth Street and the Galt House, and free musical performances on Saturdays in December (Dec 1, 8 & 15) starting at 5:30 PM at Fourth Street. The skating rink will operate Nov. 23 to Dec. 28.
    Fee: The fee for skating is $5 an hour for adults, $3 for children under 18. Daily rates are $10, and a season pass is $40. Skates will be available to rent for $2.

    Since Biblical times, shepherds and their flocks of sheep have been a central part of the Christmas story. The Locust Grove Chamber Players take you on a musical journey inspired by the shepherds of Europe and early America - including Silent Night in its original 1811 version, played on Locust Grove's 1806 Broadwood fortepiano. The Chamber Music series allows you to experience music much as the Croghans and Clarks would have, in the Great Parlor of the 1790s historic house.
