    It's the end of a busy week, so come on down to the riverboat Spirit of Jefferson and enjoy the holiday season with a two-hour cruise on the Ohio River! The buffet is delicious, and a DJ will provide music for listening or dancing.
    When: This Spirit of Jefferson cruise boards at 6:30 pm and cruises from 7 - 9 pm

    My Old Kentucky Home is decorated for Christmas in the antebellum style beautifully accented by the glow of candles everywhere. Guests have a guided tour with refreshments afterwards

    On our journey to the North Pole you will enjoy an approximate 1 hour train excursion while listening to the sounds of the season. Upon arriving at the North Pole we will pick up Santa; Santa will then board the train and travel with us on our way back to New Haven. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas. Make sure and bring your camera. Upon arriving back at the station you will have the opportunity to come in to the depot and take your child's photo with Santa. Don't forget your camera!

    What: Scientific Proofs - STEM Education in Our Schools
    The Kentucky Science Center will host a conversation on S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Education Friday, November 30, 2012 at 727 West Main Street. As part of the 2012-2013 series of after-hours, informal dialogues around timely science topics, this series is designed to foster a more scientifically literate community by encouraging idea exchange, information sharing, and educational opportunities in an impartial setting
    Winter is here and our children are firmly entrenched in another school year, but what are our kids learning and how is this preparing them for the future? Join us at the Kentucky Science Center for a hard-hitting, yet approachable examination of the state of science education in our schools. Add your perspective as we welcome state, district, and school-level experts and educators.
