    What: Historic Downtown Costumed Walking Tour - You will take a leisurely stroll back in time as you are guided through the downtown to meet prominent figures in American history such as P.T. Barnum, Jenny Lind, General George Armstrong Custer, and Carrie Nation. You will also be introduced to some not-so-famous; although some may call them infamous, local characters that have some very interesting stories to share. The tour takes about an hour and consists of walking around a block with frequent stops. For information, call 270-765-4334.

    What: "POPS IN THE PARK" - The 21st Annual "Pops in the Park" Concert at featuring the Louisville Orchestra. The theme of this year's event is "A Tribute to the Heartland". BYO chair or blanket. The Elizabethtown Don't forget to stay for the FIREWORKS after the concert.
    Time: Gates open at 6:00 p.m., concert at 8:30 p.m. (Raindate, July 18)

    What: Cruisin' the Heartland - Enjoy breakfast provided by the State Theater and The Heritage. Attend the Bar-B-Que Cook off, sock Hop and double feature of American Graffiti and Smokey and the Bandit, vintage car cruise and street concert and street vendors.
    Time: Breakfast is from 8-10 AM. Car Cruise is at 10 AM. Sock Hop is at 1 PM. Double Feature starts at 2 PM.
