The show takes place throughout the entire room, and performers may actually be seated at your table, so part of the fun from the beginning is trying to figure out who’s involved in the crime and who’s not. In the end, we have a prize package for the Top Sleuth who comes closest to solving the crime.

The show takes place throughout the entire room, and performers may actually be seated at your table, so part of the fun from the beginning is trying to figure out who’s involved in the crime and who’s not. Throughout the night, murders and mayhem will occur, hidden clues will come forth and our Detectives will help everyone try to solve the crime. In the end, we have a prize package for the Top Sleuth who comes closest to solving the crime.

  • Where: Frazier Museum
What: My Brother, My Enemy: The Civil War in Kentucky
Back by popular demand, and to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War, the Frazier Museum presents My Brother, My Enemy: The Civil War in Kentucky. This exhibition explores the fracturing of Kentucky’s families and communities as social and political issues gradually eroded the Union in the decades preceding the outbreak of the Civil War. Secession of southern states and the coming of war intensified divisions and forced separations among loved ones. Formerly close-knit families found themselves on opposite sides of the battlefield. In Kentucky, peace did not bring an end to feuding and reconciliation among divided families was not guaranteed. For some, the gulfs were too wide to bridge; for others, death prevented healing. Relationships were transformed, but the struggle between Old South and New South would divide Kentucky for a century.
By focusing on real life families, My Brother, My Enemy provides a unique opportunity to view the Civil War as a more immediate, intimate, and personal event than is often depicted in the stories of battles, campaigns, and politics alone.

None of our performers are dressed in costume, but instead are dressed just like everyone else; therefore you do not know who is a part of the show and who isn’t.

What: THE DINNER DETECTIVE INTERACTIVE MURDER MYSTERY SHOW
The Dinner Detective Interactive Murder Mystery Show is a four-course sit-down dinner in which each guest is allowed to choose their own entree. In between each course of the meal, we have another part of the show. The show is an interactive and improvised comedic murder mystery set in the present day. None of our performers are dressed in costume, but instead are dressed just like everyone else; therefore you do not know who is a part of the show and who isn’t.

  • Where: Waterfront Park, Louisville
What: WAggin' Trail Walk for the Animals
Join us on May 16, 2015. This year, we are holding our walk at Waterfront Park. Registration, vendor booths, food, live music by Ghost Holler and Dick Chaney, and fun will be found on the Big Four Lawn. This year we are changing things up a bit, moving the start of the walk to 10:00 a.m., adding beer and more food trucks and making this more of a festival atmosphere. We want this to be a great event, and we hope that you can be a part of it.
Your pledges make a big difference to our shelter pets. We can use the funds in many ways:
    • $50 provides one day’s worth of food and water to 25 pets in our care
    • $100 provides supplies for 10 surgeries in our high-quality, donor-supported SNIP clinic
    • $250 provides a medical exam, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and micro-chip for one needy pet
    • $500 pays for one heartworm positive dog to receive medication
    • $1000 pays the bills to rehabilitate an abused or neglected pet
Without events like the Waggin’ Trail, KHS wouldn’t be able to serve the thousands of homeless pets they do each year. In 2014, KHS set a record and found homes for more than 6,500 pets, saved over 200 animals with our Help-Me-Heal Fund, educated more than 5,000 children about responsible pet owner and since opening in 2007, our S.N.I.P. Clinic has performed more than 70,000 spay/neuter surgeries on owned pets.

In between each course of the meal, we have another part of the show. The show is an interactive and improvised comedic murder mystery set in the present day. None of our performers are dressed in costume, but instead are dressed just like everyone else; therefore you do not know who is a part of the show and who isn’t.

    WHY IS FREE PLAY IMPORTANT?
It’s critical to healthy child development. During free play, children’s brains develop neurological networks in a different way than in directed play. Free play supports decision making, practice with risk, social rule making, collaboration, and creativity. Ultimately, it allows children to engage fully in passions they wish to explore.

What: My Brother, My Enemy: The Civil War in Kentucky - Last Day!!
