    What: Crocodilian Awareness Day featuring Lyle Lyle Crocodile - Zookeepers will provide some amazing insight into the lives and behaviors of these powerful predators during presentations scheduled throughout the day. Then meet and greet the loveable title character from the book Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile. Don’t forget to bring your cameras.

    What: Workshops for Adults - Block Print a Scarf - Virginia Tucker, owner of the Virginia Floorcloth Company in Louisville, returns for a workshop on block-printing. In this workshop you will learn how to hand stamp an 11” X 60” silk scarf using hand carved wooden blocks that are over 100 years old. Reserve your spot by calling 897-9845.

    What: Revolutionary War Encampment or 18th Century Thunder - Companies representing General George Rogers Clark's troops from the Northwest Campaign will reenact life in a military camp, including cooking, drilling and other demonstrations.

    What: Thunder over Louisville - Thunder Over Louisville is not only the official opening ceremonies for the two fun-filled weeks of the Kentucky Derby Festival, it is also the nation's largest annual fireworks show. The Thunder Air Show dazzles the crowd with more than 100 planes, aerobatics teams, daring sky diving teams and breathtaking stunts. And the amazing technology of the United States Air Force, Navy, Army and Marines are always crowd favorites. The assortment of military aircraft and demo teams in the sky and in the water make the Louisville waterfront come to life.
