    What: July Swim Lessons Registration
    Registration for all July classes begins IN PERSON at Anderson Pool on Saturday, June 25. Classes are held in the mornings at either 8 ,9, 10.

    July Express Week Day Lessons: July 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
    ...Express Fridays will be a condensed class that will cover all of the American Red Cross guidelines for each level over 5 days instead of 8. Express classes are $22 per student.
    Weekday Swim Lessons: July 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 26, 28, 29
    Week day lessons will meet Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays for two weeks. Week day lessons are $35 per student.
    Weekend Swim Lessons: July 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24
    Weekend lessons will be held on Saturdays & Sundays in July. Weekend classes are $35 per student.
    Space is limited, first come first served. Must register in person on the first day, after the first day is over, we will take registration over the phone until all spaces are filled.

    Amateur sleuths are needed to help solve a mystery while they take a train ride back in time. Dinner and play will begin at the Sherwood Inn (adjacent to the museum at 5:30 p.m.) Not recommended for children under 13. Reservations are required. 502-549-5470 or 800-272-0152

    wo hour guided tour held every Saturday (rain or shine) 8 - 10 p.m. $20, children under six free. Ghost Trek meets at the Old Stable Restaurant and includes the Jailer’s Inn, Chapeze House, Pioneer Cemetery and the Talbott Tavern (areas of the Tavern are dependent on current events at tour time).     What: Bernheim at Night: Spring Star Stories and Sky Watch Night
    To optimize your enjoyment of these astronomical experiences, Bernheim star programs begin with a short but essential indoor orientation portion. Frequent program leaders include Don Spain and his core of volunteers from the Louisville Astronomical society as well as members of Bernheim’s Naturalists in Training program. Telescopes are provided but feel free to bring your own. Instruction on setting up scopes is available.
    Dress for the weather. Spring Star Stories happen rain or shine. Under certain weather conditions the outdoor portion may be substituted for an engaging indoor star program. Please call (502) 955-8512 the day of the program for changes due to the weather.

    What: The Art of the Book
    This special day is devoted to “all things book” — paper making, paper marbling, printing, and book-binding. Attendees will choose one subject for the morning session and one for the afternoon — with demonstrations and hands-on experiences in each session. All materials needed for the workshops will be included in the cost of the workshops. Related book arts materials, supplies, and books will be available for purchase for those who would like to continue creating their own papers and books.
    Because of the hands-on nature of these workshops, attendance must be limited. Attendees may also pre-order a box lunch featuring chicken or tuna salad sandwiches, side item, drink and dessert.
